Meteor Shower

Update- This painting was sold at the show! This painting was accepted into a show. Crosby Stills and Nash

Well we couldn't have had better seats. 4th row right. The place was PACKED and it was all 50- 60 something people. Not many under 40. It was an outdoor venue, the St Augustine Amphitheatre. It was a little muggy but we were all so excited and ready to hear some great music. I was a little surprised to see they too had aged as I haven't aged a bit.............Ha! They played and played all the songs we wanted to hear. The audience sang along and danced and showed them a lot of encouragement. They did not sing Woodstock or Suite Judy Blue Eyes but rocked the house with all the other classics, Almost cut my Hair, Wooden Ships and Love the one your With. We had a great time, went with 6 friends from Melrose. Stayed at Bumpy Road and drove home yesterday. They were very aggressive about their call for no cameras so my pictures were taken surreptitiously and of course are a bit blurry. Every one had their cell phone cameras going. and Bruce had an ap on his I phone that was a picture of a zippo lighter ready to wave it in the air!

Summer is almost over. The kids have gone back to school yesterday. This will be Lucy's senior year! I need to post these pictures and get back into my routine. Cape Cod on the way to Province town.

View from Marvo's house, Swan River, just beautiful. There were kayakers and geese and ducks swimming past all day. It was so nice to sit on her porch and just watch.

Sunday buffet at Paula Deen's restaurant in Savannah Ga. We decided we needed a treat before we hit that long state of Florida and stopped and did a little touring of Savannah. What a beautiful town. We made it to Bumpy Road that night and slept in some familiar beds.

Her restaurant. 3 stories with every table full and three huge buffets. They were totally booked but squeezed us in at the bar.

One of those lovely parks in the middle of every street. Such a cool calm place.

The houses are so lovely.

Here are some more food pictures from my road trip. No I did not eat all of this food, some of it was other peoples plates but I did eat some beautiful seafood. This was a swordfish napped with Bearnaise and crab meat.

The weather service wants you you know how to pronounce this tropical storms name! Then there is Bill right behind it. Of course the weather channel is all spun up by these back to back storms. Hopefully they will fizzle out and leave us alone. But just in case...... Party at Bumpy road. I have plenty of beds if we need to evacuate!
