New Painting

Here is a new painting this week. Even with Thanksgiving and a house full of people I was able to finish this one. It is a gallery wrap so no frame and I believe it will be called "key West Morning"

    So glad you left the conch OUTSIDE the house; I'm not overly superstitious but you won't find one of those in my home.

    Really... I never heard of any superstitions about the conch shell.......

    Conch lore has it that bringing a shell inside the house invites bad luck. When Miss Wilhelina met Queen Elizabeth, she gave her a conch but didn't tell her not to take inside the palace. Later that year there was a fire in the palace and her son and d-i-l split up. Miss Wilhelmina felt there was direct correlation--maybe? LOL
